Welcome to the Ladies of Harley (LOH). LOH is group of female Harley-Davidson® enthusiasts promoting activities and adventures from within a local Harley Owners Group® (H.O.G.®) Chapter. All Ladies who are members of the Lone Wolf Chapter are, by virtue of that membership, members of LOH. Whether you ride solo or as a passenger, the LOH helps promote ladies participation in the world of Harley-Davidson. The active members of LOH are a group of women who enjoy organizing and participating in social, travel and charitable events resulting in everlasting friendships, where laughter is heard and memories are made. LOH has something to offer everyone.
Meg and Kristina have been working together as LOH Directors since January 2019 and have been shaking things up by scheduling more activities and rides instead of meetings. We follow the direction of our members and so far it is working out as attendance for each event continues to grow.
Kristina Wayne co-owns and operates My Favorite Things, a 16,000 sq. ft. vendor mall in Post Falls, Idaho, and recently started a new candy business featuring Baba's Almond Toffee.
She didn't grow up riding motorcycles except the occasional ride behind a current boyfriend. But one day over 20 years ago, while looking out the car window, a Harley went by; suddenly she was struck by the sense of freedom and adventure that it inspired. From that moment, Kristina decided she would pursue learning to ride her own. It took several years to realize that dream, taking the STAR course in 2003, A close friend, Sherry Munroe, was largely responsible for Kristina's introduction to Harley Davidson and the Lone Wolf chapter. Since Kristina's husband doesn't ride motorcycles (he prefers to pedal a bike up and down mountains), she mostly rode with other more experienced female riders, practicing her riding skills and growing in confidence through their friendship and encouragement. Kristina's first bike was a 1983 750 Honda Shadow, followed by her first Harley Davidson, a 2005 Sportster 1200XL. She now rides a 2017 Harley Davidson Road King named Ruby for her hot rod candy apple red paint. From her own experiences and friendships gained at Lone Wolf--many who are LOH members--Kristina desires to pay it forward by encouraging other women riders to realize their dream. |
Meg Harper has worked in the hospitality industry for the last 28 years and most recently is the National Group Sales Director for Davenport Hotels in Spokane, WA.
As all good fairy tales start she met a man that rode a Harley-Davidson in 2010. She overcame her fear of motorcycles and discovered the passion of riding a motorcycle as a passenger with him. When the relationship ended he challenged her to learn to ride her own. He told her he didn’t think she could do it and that was all it took for her to take the endorsement class and conquer those fears. She was fortunate to have friends around her that helped with her technique and skill level. Meg has ridden her own motorcycle since 2015. Today Meg rides a 2019 Harley-Davidson Freewheeler named Thor. He is her 2nd motorcycle and first love. |
